Local Thanksgiving Turkey Guide: Get your free range Thanksgiving turkey in northern Virginia

Thanksgiving is November 28th. Here’s where you can find a local, farm-fresh holiday turkey in northern Virginia.

  • Briar’s Farmstead

    Order online or call Matt at 540-664-8005. Pick up on the farm in Boyce, VA (near Winchester).

  • Chicama Run Farm

    Reserve your fresh, pasture raised turkey online with a $25 deposit. Make final payment based on weight when you pick it up at Chicama Run Farm.

  • Fields of Athenry Farm

    Order by Monday, November 9th.

  • Maple Avenue Market

    Turkeys are humanely raised by small family farms on pasture. Taking orders now for your Thanksgiving Feast: Fresh Free-range Turkeys, Apple Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Homemade Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Veggies, Green Beans (with bacon and shallots), Cornbread Dressing.   • MOM’s Organic Market

    Free Range Maple Lawn turkeys from Fulton, MD and Koch’s Organic turkeys from Tamaqua, PA –  Reserve online or pick up in MOM’s stores starting Friday, November 20th, no reservation needed.

  • Moving Meadows Farm

    Pasture-raised, available fresh, ready for roasting. Call 540-317-5862 to order with a $25 deposit, or stop in at the store (Culpeper).

  • Rainbow Acres Farm

    Call 703-753-6493 or fill out an order form at their booth Saturday at the Purcellville Town Farmers Market or Sunday at the Gilbert’s Corner Farmers Market in Aldie.

  • Relay Foods

    Get your Polyface Farm turkey from Relay Foods. Polyface Farm is located in Swoope, Virginia. You can order the turkey online through Relay Foods, then pick it up at one of Relay’s pick up locations or have it delivered to your doorstep.

  • Whiffletree Farm

    Get your turkey at the Farm Store (M-F 11 am to 5 pm, Sat 1-5 pm) or reserve it here with your credit card and get it at one of Wiffletree’s NOVA, Loudoun, DC, Fredericksburg, or Charlottesville deliveries.
